I stopped going to the Trail
over a year ago...

fewer birds

less water in the canals

less free time 

and maybe a little

trepidation

...

okay that translates to

anxiety..

nervousness

after my brief encounter 

with a rather large gator

that I almost stepped on ...
yes.. you can walk backwards on air
if you need to........

a foggy beginning to Saturday..

the trail was shrouded in fog
until almost 11 am..

a few birds showing off
for the camera ..

a few gators relaxing

in the warm weather

.. and you know this guy
just wants to say hello
