Cemeteries have never been one of my
choices for photography,
but the older places do have a
certain appeal. Especially in New Orleans
where 90% of all burials are above ground.
Greenwood is probably one of the
safest mid-city cemeteries for tourists.
The older and more notorious cemeteries
around the French Quarter are not recommended
unless you take a guided tour .. safety in numbers!!
Greenwood is easily accessible from the French Quarter
by taking the red trolley on Canal Street.
