This is the old US 90 bridge that links
Madison and Suwannee Counties
at Ellaville, Florida .
Oh.. just for the record.. I am a true
Florida cracker.. born and raised in
Madison County.
As a teenage driver I remember being
a little nervous every time I drove over
the narrow bridge , hoping the semi-truck in the
opposite lane would not push me into the
Suwannee River.
The old truss bridge has been closed
to traffic since 1986 when the new
' bridge ' was opened.
