Just what you expect from an old friend.
My first Nikon.
An F2 purchased in 1976.
The Nikon F followed by the F2 is considered
the most reliable of all mechanical 35mm SLRs.
The F2 was in production from 1970 until 1980.
Workable even with dead batteries.
A feature not available with today's
electronic shutters.
Speed range from 1 to 1/2000th second.
The last F series Nikon to have manual speeds.
My only problem with the second F series Nikon
was an overused film advance wheel that had
to be replaced.
These are my latest Nikons.
All digital.. so no problem with
a worn out film advance.
