BUT .... today there were gators all along the trail
Almost stepped on this one before I moon walked
in mid-air... I should have gone forward, instead I
backpedaled and had to wait almost an hour for
him / her to move.
While I waited, this little guy sneaked up behind me.
I thought I could handle the little ankle biter..
but mom usually is close by and that was a concern.
After a good look , he crawled back into the weeds.
The bigger gator finally had enough sun and returned
to the water... and I made a hasty retreat to my car.
Think maybe I have enough gator shots for the time being.
