Eagling...

How many times have I driven past the bald eagles
sitting atop the utility poles on US 441 .. ...
Thanks Rachael for spotting these.
Back in the Paynes Prairie Park to the area where
I stumbled across an eagle two weeks ago.
High in the pine tree near the nest.

Most of the shots were of the eagle's backside,

but whistling was enough of a distraction
for a few profile shots.

This eagle was very patient and remained
perched on the utility pole for several hours.
