On the trail...

Dom the photographer and volunteer that

has the nice cart to drive on the trail...

wonder if I volunteer will they give me a

cart to drive.. I would offer the trail weary

seniors a lift to the gazebo........

.. Thelma and Louise would probably not accept

a ride back.. they seemed to enjoy the 3 mile trek.

I was lagging along behind.. .. I would accept a ride

if only Dom would offer... maybe he can't for insurance

reasons.... but it would give him more time to plug

his website.. he seems to preface every comment with

if you would look at my website... I should/could give

a link to that... maybe in a later post.....

My field guides today stopped long enough to point

out the various butterflies along the trail...

gulf fritillary, giant swallowtails and monarchs.

Ben and his band of brothers are accustomed to

seeing intruders and do not seem in a rush to

scurry back to the underbrush.

..and of course one of the gators along the banks.

By the time the gate to the trail is open at 8am,

there are a few gators remaining on the banks..

Less than an hour later and those will have

disppeared into the water.... perhaps to cool off.
