Flowers ...

I will be the first to admit that I am not very - even
slightly knowledgeable about plants and flowers........
several days ago I took this photo at the prairie..
thought it was an interesting looking weed.... my oh my
was I wrong. At the prairie today, a nice lady pointed
out numerous plants and flowers I had hardly noticed.
.. I am always too busy checking my foot placement
and looking for gators.... so today I learned something.
That is always a good feeling... to walk away from a
place and feel enlightened.... the weed is actually a
passion flower and is a favorite of the local butterfly
population....... and now a proper name on my photos.
