the prairie has been very dry...
so I haven't been going there
as much this year....
back in April I stopped to get
a few shots of the repairs to the
boardwalk....
the marsh below is completely dry..
no sight of the gators that use to
swim near the railings...
fast forward to late June ..
and the construction is
only partially complete ..
I have yet to see anyone working there.
at this rate it might be
December before the
work is complete...
maybe the rain will
bring back the gators
and migrating birds..
